MARCOS PICCHIO
I'm currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health. Starting next fall, I'll be an assistant professor of philosophy at Oakland University in Southeast Michigan. I completed a PhD in philosophy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in spring 2023. You can find my CV here.
My research focuses on ethical issues with the use of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in development economics and public health, or public policy experiments for short. I have additional research interests in the social contract tradition and economic methodology, especially their intersection. I've also recently started thinking about ethical questions raised by assortative mating.
